JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SLED Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience selling IT, AV & Security solutions within the Public Sector space, including K-12 and local municipalities. They must be familiar with state contracts and cooperative purchasing, and be willing to learn new systems and software as the industry is constantly evolving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the SLED market.
  • Understand and stay up-to-date with state contracts and cooperative purchasing agreements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking within the SLED market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet the needs of our SLED customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and be willing to learn new systems and software.

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling within the Public Sector space, including K-12 and local municipalities.
  • Familiarity with state contracts and cooperative purchasing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and software.
  • Knowledge of our core products, including Structured Cabling, Physical Security (Cameras and Access Control), and Audio Visual systems.
